The first batch of six aircraft is part of a total order of twenty-five.

Capua, Italy – Tecnam and FSTC EUROPE today announced the purchase of six (6) Tecnam aircraft (four (4) P-MENTOR and two (2) P2006T NG twin-engine aircraft), as part of a total of twenty-five (25) brand new training aircraft, to be progressively acquired by the end of 2027.

Order for five new aircraft announced during Pilot Expo Brussels.

Brussels, Belgium – Tecnam and Smart Aviation today announced during Pilot Expo Brussels the purchase agreement for five (5) additional Tecnam P2008JC single engine two-seater aircraft. These new aircraft will be used for ab-initio training.

Based in Poznan, Poland, Smart Aviation ATO has been training aspiring pilots of more than 50 nationalities for over a decade to start their careers with the world’s major airlines, and is growing at a very fast pace to help major airlines recruit new pilots. ATO also has its own maintenance base at Zielona Gora International Airport and its own helicopter base at Poznan Kobylnica Airport.

Smart Aviation has been working with Tecnam since 2013, when it purchased its first Tecnam P2002JF. iFly Aeronautical University was founded on May 6, 2011 by Captain Julián Esquivel Calvillo in the city of Mérida, Yucatán, with the mission of training the best aviator pilots in Mexico. Starting operations with a team of 40 people including directors, administrators, teachers, captains, controllers and maintenance technicians, all committed to improving Mexican aviation.

In 2018 iFly obtained the Recognition of Official Validity of Studies (RVOE) of the Aviation Management career, becoming the first Aeronautical University for aviator pilots in Mexico, as well as the certification of our Airbus A320 simulator.

Today the University has more than 250 students.
